Paid Parental Leave Act 2010 - s 305
These are laws that authorise a computer program to make a decision. This is not a claim that any decision was wrong, that any agency currently automates anything, or how any agency uses the power if it does. Authorisation is not use.
Provision text
305 Secretary may arrange for use of computer programs to make
decisions
(1) The Secretary may arrange for the use, under the Secretary’s
control, of computer programs for any purposes for which the
Secretary may make decisions under this Act.
(2) A decision made by the operation of a computer program under an
arrangement made under subsection (1) is taken to be a decision
made by the Secretary.
